Datenschutzerklärung
Kurzfassung
Kadrell erhebt keine personenbezogenen Daten. Die App enthält kein Tracking, keine Analyse-Werkzeuge, keine Werbung und kein Benutzerkonto. Alles, was Kadrell speichert, liegt in deinem Benutzerordner auf deinem Mac.

2. Was Kadrell auf deinem Mac speichert
- Die Sessionliste: Name, Projektordner, Gruppe und Session-Kennung jeder Session, die du in Kadrell angelegt hast. Sie liegt als Datei unter
~/Library/Application Support/de.malura.kadrell/. - Deine Einstellungen: Tastenkürzel, Schrift, Größe, Startoptionen für Claude. Sie liegen in den macOS-Voreinstellungen der App.
Beides verlässt deinen Mac nicht. Kadrell betreibt keinen eigenen Server und sendet nichts an uns.
3. Claude Code
Kadrell startet das Kommandozeilenwerkzeug Claude Code von Anthropic auf deinem Mac, in jedem Terminal-Fenster eine eigene Session. Was du dort eingibst und was Claude antwortet, überträgt Claude Code an Anthropic. Dafür gilt die Datenschutzerklärung von Anthropic: anthropic.com/privacy. Kadrell liest den Verlauf deiner Sessions nicht aus und speichert ihn nicht. Claude Code legt seine Gesprächsverläufe selbst unter ~/.claude/ ab.
Um den Zustand einer Session anzuzeigen (arbeitet, wartet, fertig), fragt Kadrell Claude Code lokal über dessen Kommandozeile ab. Dabei werden keine Daten ins Netz übertragen.
4. Anzeige der Claude-Nutzung
Kadrell zeigt in der Leiste, wie viel deines Claude-Kontingents verbraucht ist. Dafür ruft die App alle paar Minuten den Endpunkt api.anthropic.com/api/oauth/usage auf, denselben, den Claude Code selbst nutzt. Als Berechtigungsnachweis verwendet Kadrell das Zugangs-Token, das Claude Code beim Anmelden im macOS-Schlüsselbund ablegt. Kadrell liest dieses Token bei jeder Abfrage frisch aus dem Schlüsselbund, speichert es nicht und sendet es an keine andere Stelle. Übertragen werden nur das Token und die technisch notwendigen Verbindungsdaten (etwa deine IP-Adresse). Bist du in Claude Code nicht angemeldet, findet keine Abfrage statt.
5. Mikrofon
Beim ersten Start fragt macOS, ob Kadrell das Mikrofon verwenden darf. Die Freigabe braucht Claude Code für seine Spracheingabe innerhalb der Terminals. Kadrell selbst nimmt nichts auf, wertet nichts aus und speichert keine Aufnahmen. Ohne die Freigabe funktioniert alles andere weiter.
6. Weitergabe an Dritte
Kadrell gibt keine Daten an Dritte weiter. Die einzigen Netzwerkverbindungen sind die unter Punkt 3 und 4 beschriebenen zu Anthropic.
7. Mac App Store
Der Download der App erfolgt über den Mac App Store von Apple. Beim Download kann Apple Daten erheben, auf die wir keinen Einfluss haben. Verantwortlich dafür ist Apple Distribution International Ltd., es gilt die Datenschutzerklärung von Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy.
8. Diese Website
Diese Website ist eine rein statische Informationsseite. Sie verwendet keine Cookies, keine eingebetteten Dienste und kein Tracking. Beim Aufruf verarbeitet der Hosting-Server technisch notwendige Zugriffsprotokolle (IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, abgerufene Datei), soweit das für den sicheren Betrieb erforderlich ist (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Sie werden nach kurzer Zeit gelöscht.
9. Deine Rechte
Dir stehen nach DSGVO die Rechte auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch zu. Da Kadrell keine personenbezogenen Daten bei uns speichert, liegen uns in der Regel keine dich betreffenden Daten vor. Deine lokalen Daten entfernst du, indem du die App und den oben genannten Ordner löschst.
10. Änderungen
Diese Erklärung wird angepasst, wenn sich die App oder die Rechtslage ändert. Es gilt jeweils die unter kadrell.malura.de/datenschutz.html veröffentlichte Fassung.

Privacy Policy
Summary
Kadrell collects no personal data. The app contains no tracking, no analytics, no ads, and no user account. Everything Kadrell stores lives in your home folder on your Mac.

2. What Kadrell stores on your Mac
- The session list: name, project folder, group, and session ID of every session you created in Kadrell. It is a file under
~/Library/Application Support/de.malura.kadrell/. - Your settings: shortcuts, font, size, and launch options for Claude. They live in the app's macOS preferences.
Neither leaves your Mac. Kadrell runs no server of its own and sends nothing to us.
3. Claude Code
Kadrell launches Anthropic's command-line tool Claude Code on your Mac, one session per terminal tile. What you type there and what Claude replies is transmitted to Anthropic by Claude Code. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy. Kadrell does not read or store your conversation history. Claude Code keeps its own transcripts under ~/.claude/.
To show a session's state (working, waiting, done), Kadrell queries Claude Code locally through its command line. No data is sent over the network for this.
4. Usage indicator
Kadrell's bar shows how much of your Claude quota is used. For this, the app calls api.anthropic.com/api/oauth/usage every few minutes, the same endpoint Claude Code uses itself. To authenticate, Kadrell uses the access token that Claude Code stores in the macOS keychain when you sign in. Kadrell reads that token fresh from the keychain on every request, never stores it, and never sends it anywhere else. Only the token and the technically necessary connection data (such as your IP address) are transmitted. If you are not signed in to Claude Code, no request is made.
5. Microphone
On first launch, macOS asks whether Kadrell may use the microphone. Claude Code needs that permission for its voice input inside the terminals. Kadrell itself records nothing, analyses nothing, and stores no recordings. Everything else works without the permission.
6. Sharing with third parties
Kadrell shares no data with third parties. The only network connections are those to Anthropic described in sections 3 and 4.
7. Mac App Store
The app is distributed through Apple's Mac App Store. Apple may collect data during download that we have no influence over. Apple Distribution International Ltd. is responsible for that; Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
8. This website
This website is a static information page. It uses no cookies, no embedded services, and no tracking. The hosting server processes technically necessary access logs (IP address, time, requested file) as far as required for secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are deleted after a short time.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Because Kadrell stores no personal data with us, we usually hold no data about you. To remove your local data, delete the app and the folder named above.
10. Changes
This policy will be updated when the app or the legal situation changes. The version published at kadrell.malura.de/datenschutz.html applies.
